Sanad Prep Learning Center, an education service of Sanad Trust Foundation, is seeking a Volunteer Math Tutor for high school math subjects.
Our mission is to provide education, wellness, and community programs that preserve the innate good and serve the well-being of children, families, and communities.
Position Details:
- Volunteer basis
- 2-3 hours per week, with one day onsite and one day online
- Ideal for a college student, professional, or retired professional looking to give back to the community and impact students
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure students understand course concepts and material
- Identify knowledge gaps and review any necessary concepts with students (lessons and resources provided)
- Serve as a role model and motivate students to achieve success
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent accredited GED (experience tutoring/teaching math subjects such as Algebra and Geometry preferred)
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft and G-Suite applications a plus
- Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, and staff
Additional Requirements:
The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
